West London Audi & Audi (UK)
MCS has completed installation of the structured cabling system and audio-visual systems for Audi at their new building in West London, which is now the largest Audi Centre in the world. The seven-story building occupies 190,000 square feet and opened for business on October 19th 2009.
MCS installed over 700 Nexans Category 6 outlets, together with fibre optic and voice backbones across the showrooms, exhibition centre, 32 bay workshop, offices and conference facilities.
The two upper floors, designated as the Quattro Rooms, include state of the art meeting, presentation, and video-conferencing facilities. These are for the exclusive use of Audi UK's clients and guests, as well as being hired out to companies wishing to hold business meetings in a very high tech environment with the added interest of the latest range of Audi Automobiles on hand to view.
MCS was extensively involved in the design and delivery of these systems which incorporate the latest Crestron(r) control system together with Kramer Electronics audio-visual switching and full AV distribution.
MCS worked very closely with the client's architect, SDA Architects Ltd, and with Bang & Olufsen sound to deliver a seamless solution for the management and delivery of high quality audio-visual presentation material, including integration with lighting and building management systems.
